The Role

As a Management Accountant, based in Wroxham,you will play an important role within our Finance team, supporting the smoothrunning of the department and helping to ensure the accuracy and integrity ofour monthly management accounts.

Reporting to the Finance Planning & AnalysisManager, you will have a particular focus on monthly gross profit reporting,cost analysis, reconciliations and maintaining the integrity of our ERP data.This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and commercially awarefinance professional who enjoys working with data, investigating variances andworking closely with colleagues across the business.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Supportthe production and integrity of the monthly management accounts
  • Producemonthly gross profit reporting, including reconciliation and reallocation ofmonthly job expenditure
  • CompleteWIP and revenue recognition adjustments
  • Reconcileand reallocate ‘Other Productive Costs’
  • Completebalance sheet reconciliations
  • Carry outweekly timesheet checks and uploads
  • Analysematerials costs and committed cost variances, investigating discrepancies whererequired
  • Producestock usage and variance reporting
  • Maintainthe integrity and accuracy of ERP data
  • Interpretfinancial and operational data to identify issues and opportunities
  • Workcollaboratively with colleagues across the business to resolve financial anddata-related queries

About You

  • Stronganalytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • AdvancedExcel skills, including Lookups, Pivot Tables and Power Query
  • Abilityto interpret, analyse and report on key financial and operational data
  • Confidence and diplomacy to challenge inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Excellentorganisation and prioritisation skills
  • Positiveattitude and a strong willingness to work as part of a team
  • Abilityto take ownership and responsibility for tasks and identify opportunities forimprovement
  • Confidentcommunicating financial information and explaining financial reports tonon-financial colleagues
  • Flexibleand willing to support the team in overcoming ad hoc challenges

Qualifications & DesirableExperience

  • Previousexperience working within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage

This role is offered on a full-time basis, however, we would also beopen to considering a part-time arrangement for the right person. We areparticularly open to discussing a flexible working pattern around key periodssuch as month-end.
