ThesuccessfulcandidatewillberesponsibleforhandlingavarietyofEngineering and Construction claimsfromaroundtheworld,andadjustingclaimsfromtheirinitialnotificationthroughsettlement.
KeyResponsibilities
- Proactivelyadjustingclaimsthroughtoresolution.
- Ensuringthatsufficientfinancialprovisionsareheldforallclaims.
- Developingcollaborativeworkingrelationshipswithinternalandexternalstakeholders,inparticularwiththeUnderwritersandActuaries.
- EnsuringeffectivetechnicaloversightofTPAs/ServiceProvidersviaregularcontactmeetings,peerreviews,aswellastechnicalfilereviews.
- InstructingandproactivelyworkingwithPanelLawyers,Adjusters,andExpertstoensurethebestoutcomeswhilstcontrollingcostsandreducingclaimsleakage.
KeyRequirements
- AClaimsHandlerwithextensivepriorexperienceofEngineering and or Construction claimsadjusting.
- Understandingofpolicycoverage,claimsnegotiationskillsandclaimsstrategy.
- Understandingandapplyinglegal,regulatoryandterritorialissues.
- Usingstronganalyticalandproblemsolvingskills.
- KnowledgeoftheLloyd'sinsurancemarketispreferred.
- Actingwithhonesty,integrityandfairnessatalltimeswiththewillingnesstotakeresponsibilityandaccountability.
- Apositive,enthusiasticandconfidentdisposition.
