A growing fire protection company is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sprinkler professional who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in quality installations, and wants to build a long‑term career with a stable organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB DETAIL:
- Install, service, and repair fire sprinkler systems, including wet pipe, dry pipe, pre‑action, and deluge systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, building plans, and specifications
- Work closely with foremen, project managers, contractors, and other trades on job sites
- Travel regionally to project locations, including occasional overnight stays
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with NFPA standards and OSHA regulations
Requirements
- 3+ yearsfire sprinkler fitterexperience
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 70 pounds
- Completion of a sprinkler fitter apprenticeship program preferred
- Knowledge of NFPA standards, OSHA regulations, and fire/building codes
- State-specific sprinkler licensing or ability to obtain licensingpreferred
- Hourly pay based on experience
