TPF Recruitmentare delighted to be supporting a well-established independent firm of CharteredAccountants in Eastleigh, who are looking to recruit an Accounts Semi-Senior tojoin their friendly and growing team.

This is anexcellent opportunity for someone with previous accountancy practice experiencewho is looking to develop their technical skills, gain greater client exposure,and progress their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.Full study support is available for candidates currently studying, or planningto study, AAT, ACA or ACCA.

The firm actsfor a broad portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors, ranging from soletraders and partnerships through to established owner-managed businesses andlimited companies. As part of the accounts team, you'll gain exposure to adiverse workload while working closely with experienced professionals who arecommitted to your development.

Responsibilities

• Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders,partnerships and limited companies.
• Assisting with the preparation of corporation taxand self-assessment tax returns.
• Producing management accounts for a range ofclients.
• Supporting bookkeeping and VAT return preparation.
• Liaising directly with clients to answer queriesand build strong working relationships.
• Working closely with senior members of the team ona varied client portfolio.
• Developing your technical knowledge and taking onadditional responsibility as your experience grows.

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a UK accountancypractice.
• Experience preparing accounts for a range ofbusiness entities.
• Studying AAT, ACA or ACCA, or keen to begin aprofessional qualification (study support provided).
• Strong communication skills with a proactive andpositive approach.
• Good organisational skills and the ability tomanage multiple deadlines.
• Salary of £28,000 - £36,000, depending onexperience and qualification status.
