Reporting to: Operations Manager
Overview
An excitingopportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for anexperienced cleaner to join our established team as a Relief Cleaning Operative at PIB Cardiff.
The successfulcandidate will be required to carry out a range of cleaningtasks, safely and professionally, to a high standard. Youmust be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, havethe ability to communicate on all levels and provideflexibility to cover additional shifts, as and whenrequired.
A basic DBS check is required prior to starting.
Duties include:
- Cleaning ofdesignated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaning specification is completed, as per the site instructions
- Emptying of bins, ensuring recycled waste is disposed of correctly
- Attending to spillages by making sure they are cleaned up, within an efficient timeframe, to prevent accidents and ensure site and staff safety
- Following H&S and COSHH regulations
- Use of site-specific equipment, machinery and handling chemicals
- Proactive interaction with on-site clients and customers, offering superb customer service

- Carrying out any other reasonable management requests
Requirements
- Good attention todetail
- Good verbal andwritten communication skills
- Ability to workindependently and use initiative
- Flexibility to covershifts as and when required
- Reliable andresponsible with a flexible approach to work
- Basic DBS check
