Two full-time live-out Housekeepers – Chelsea
A wonderful private household in Chelsea islooking for two experienced Housekeepers to join them on a permanent, live-outbasis.
The principals are a husband and wife with nochildren and no pets. Their current Filipina Housekeepers have been with themfor an exceptional 28 years and are now retiring, so the family is looking fortwo excellent, long-term replacements.
The property is a large four-storey,five-bedroom home, and the successful candidates must be highly experienced inprivate household housekeeping and confident cooks (simple, healthy meals).
Duties
- Full housekeeping ofthe property to a high standard
- Cleaning andmaintaining all areas of the home
- Laundry and ironing
- Care of clothing andhousehold linens
- Simple, healthy homecooking
- General householdorganisation
- Working alongside theother Housekeeper to ensure the smooth running of the home
- Occasional additionalduties/overtime as required
Working days & hours
Approximately 9:30am–6:30pm, with someflexibility required. Mon to Fri with each housekeeper working 2 Saturdays amonth, however this can be discussed further.
Saturday flexibility may also be required, aswell as occasional overtime.
Travel
A small amount of domestic travel (UK) isrequired. The household spends time at their country residence in Hampshireduring July and August, and the Housekeepers may be required to accompany them.
Separate accommodation will be provided inHampshire.
Start
Anytime between now and March 2027. They can wait for the right person until March 2027 the latest (as that's when the current Housekeepers finish with the client)
This is an excellent opportunity for twohighly experienced Housekeepers looking for a secure, long-term role with ahousehold that clearly values and retains its staff.
Requirements
- Significant previousexperience as a Housekeeper within private households
- Strong housekeepingand laundry/ironing skills
- Confident witheveryday cooking and preparing simple, healthy meals
- Professional, discreetand trustworthy
- Flexible and willingto work as part of a team
- Ideally a full drivinglicence – this is not a MUST but at least one of the two Housekeepers mustbe able to drive
- A car will be providedfor work purposes
- Looking for along-term, permanent position
