The original, unrivalled fresh pasta company wants you to join our team! Ugo Foods Group are looking for talented, ambitious and determined Quality Assurance professionals to join our growing team!
Quality Assurance Auditors are at the heart of our manufacturing operation, successful candidates will be supporting the company in producing up to 150,000 meals per week by providing first-hand Technical support.
QAAs have a variety of responsibilities which include:
- Supporting the Technical and manufacturing teams in ensuring the company is conforming to customer and BRCGS standards
- Auditing and filing all of the manufacturing documentation on a daily basis, highlighting and investigating non–conformances and implementing relevant actions and follow-up with the appropriate escalation
- Presenting a strong factory presence, troubleshooting and striving for high standards of food safety and quality compliance
- Undertaking Safety and Quality training in accordance with Company procedures and Industry standards
- Undertaking GMP auditing and reporting
- Supporting the fulfilment of the Company Internal Audit schedule
- Undertaking product traceability and recall exercises
This list is not conclusive. This role is ideal for anyone who has a proactive approach to problem-solving Food Safety issues, and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be working in an extremely fast-paced environment and must be able to work under pressure from time-to-time.
Our QAAs work across three different shift patterns, Monday to Friday, although there are occasionally exceptions to this which will be notified and discussed in advance. Hours will be discussed in more detail during the interview stage.
Requirements
- Previous food manufacturing QA experience, preferably in a fresh foods environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using the Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications
- Excellent time management skills
- Flexibility when working required, our QAs work across three shifts which rotate during regular intervals.
