Job Description

We are looking for experienced Quantity Surveyors for current and upcoming construction opportunities across the Midlands.

We are interested in commercial professionals with experience managing project costs, contracts and commercial performance across construction projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the commercial aspects of construction projects.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage valuations, applications and payments.
  • Prepare and assess variations and changes.
  • Manage subcontractor accounts.
  • Monitor project costs and financial performance.
  • Assist with procurement and tendering.
  • Review contractual obligations and commercial risks.
  • Prepare commercial reports.
  • Support final accounts and project close-out.
  • Work closely with project, site and client teams.



Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Proven Quantity Surveying experience.
  • Degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
  • Knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
  • Strong commercial and cost-management experience.
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

  • MRICS.
  • MCIOB.

Requirements
Right to work in the UK. Proven site management experience. Valid CSCS Manager Card. Valid SMSTS qualification. First Aid at Work qualification. Full UK driving licence. Strong understanding of construction site operations. Experience managing subcontractors and site teams. Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of site delivery. Desirable Temporary Works Supervisor qualification. Asbestos Awareness. Fire Marshal qualification. Temporary Works knowledge.
