ZOEVA is a prestige EU+UK beauty brand with a fast-scaling DTC business on Shopify Plus. We run lean, move fast, and operate with AI embedded across our workflows — from analytics to campaign execution.
We are looking for a senior Shopify developer who actively uses AI tools such as Claude Code and Codex as a core part of their development workflow — not as add-ons, but as the foundation of how they build, iterate, and ship code. This role involves taking AI-generated concepts, prototypes, or functional ideas and transforming them into clean, production-grade Shopify implementations that perform in a live environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Architect and build within Shopify Plus across themes, custom storefronts, and integrations
- Use AI tools (e.g. Claude Code, Codex) daily for development, refactoring, and iteration
- Translate AI-generated concepts or prototypes into production-ready Shopify code
- Own and maintain high-quality codebases (Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- Build and optimise landing pages, CRO flows, and A/B testing setups
- Manage API integrations and third-party tooling
- Collaborate directly with eCommerce, marketing, and design teams
- 5+ years Shopify (Plus) development experience
- Strong proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Active daily use of AI tools such as Claude Code and/or Codex
- Ability to work with AI-generated concepts and convert them into production-quality code
- Strong architectural judgment and ownership mindset
- Experience with APIs, headless or composable architectures
- Familiarity with GA4, CRO tools, and data-driven iteration
- Comfortable working asynchronously in agile environments
- Fluent in English
- Direct collaboration with an AI-native eCommerce team
- A fast-moving environment where AI is embedded in workflows
- Freelance engagement (6–12 months) with growth potential
- Fully remote and flexible working
- Competitive day rate
