This role sits at the intersection of design, technology, and brand at ZOEVA. As UX Digital Designer, you will be the driving creative force behind our website experience and the design of new digital features — working hand-in-hand with our Lead Developer and Marketing Team to deliver interfaces that are both beautiful and highly effective.

You will bring a rigorous UX sensibility to everything you touch: from the clarity of a product page to the flow of a checkout journey, from the design of a new loyalty feature to the layout of a campaign landing page. Great digital design at ZOEVA is not decorative — it is functional, measurable, and integral to commercial performance.

We are looking for a designer who is equally comfortable in Figma and in conversation with a developer, who understands accessibility and performance constraints, and who is genuinely excited about using AI tools to accelerate prototyping, user research synthesis, and workflow efficiency. If you care about the detail of how a customer experiences a brand online — and you want to own that experience end-to-end — this is the role for you.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Website Design & User Experience
    • Own the UX and visual design of the ZOEVA website across all markets - ensuring a consistently premium, on-brand customer experience at every touchpoint.
    • Design and iterate on key pages including homepage, product pages, collection pages, campaign landing pages, and checkout flows.
    • Conduct and interpret user research, heatmap analysis, and A/B test results to inform design decisions and drive continuous improvement.
    • Develop and maintain a coherent design system and component library to ensure visual consistency and development efficiency across the site.
    • Collaborate closely with the Lead Developer to translate designs into high-quality, responsive, and performant front-end experiences.
  • Digital Feature Design
    • Lead the design of new digital features - from initial concept and user flow mapping through to detailed UI design and developer handoff.
    • Produce clear wireframes, interactive prototypes, and annotated specifications that enable the development team to build with confidence.
    • Work with the Marketing Team to understand customer needs, business objectives, and campaign requirements before designing solutions.
    • Ensure all new features are designed with accessibility (WCAG), mobile-first principles, and conversion optimisation as baseline requirements.
    • Contribute to the UX strategy for ZOEVA’s digital roadmap, proactively identifying opportunities to improve the customer journey and remove friction.
  • AI-Assisted Design & Prototyping
    • Use AI-powered prototyping tools to accelerate the concept and iteration phases - reducing time from brief to testable prototype and enabling faster decision-making.
    • Apply AI tools for user research synthesis, content generation, and pattern recognition to surface insights and inform design direction more efficiently.
    • Explore generative UI tools and AI-assisted design workflows to improve efficiency across repetitive or high-volume design tasks.
    • Stay current with emerging AI applications in UX and front-end design, and bring relevant tools and techniques to the team proactively.
  • Collaboration & Process
    • Act as the bridge between design intent and technical delivery - maintaining a close, constructive relationship with the Lead Developer from concept through to build and QA.
    • Participate in sprint planning and agile workflows, ensuring design work is clearly scoped, prioritised, and delivered on time.
    • Present UX decisions and design rationale to stakeholders with clarity, using data and user insight to support recommendations.
    • Champion a user-centred design culture across the broader marketing and technology teams, raising the bar for digital quality across the business.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Essential
    • Proven experience as a UX or digital product designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end work across web and digital product.
    • Expert proficiency in Figma - including component libraries, auto-layout, prototyping, and developer handoff.
    • Solid working understanding of HTML and CSS - sufficient to communicate confidently with developers and appreciate technical constraints and possibilities.
    • Demonstrable experience designing for ecommerce, ideally within beauty, fashion, or premium lifestyle.
    • Strong command of UX principles: information architecture, user flows, interaction design, and accessibility standards.
    • Experience with A/B testing methodologies and heatmap tools such as Hotjar - comfortable using data to validate design decisions and iterate with purpose.
    • High visual standards and a strong aesthetic sensibility aligned with premium brand environments.
    • Clear communicator, able to present and justify design decisions with confidence to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Desirable
    • Hands-on experience with AI tools for prototyping, content generation, or design workflow efficiency — such as Galileo AI, Uizard, Framer AI, or equivalent.
    • Familiarity with Shopify or headless commerce platforms and their design and development constraints.
    • Understanding of performance marketing and how landing page design, load speed, and UX decisions affect conversion.
    • Experience working within or actively contributing to a design system.
    • Motion design or micro-interaction experience is a plus.
