About the Role

As our HR & Payroll Integration Support specialist, you will play a pivotal role in:

  • HR & payroll integration work for a recent acquisition
  • Full UK payroll accountability (global payroll provider partnership)
  • Employee data alignment, testing, validation & systems migration
  • Benefits administration, reconciliations, onboarding and off-boarding
  • HR operations, policy guidance, recruitment support & employee queries
  • Ensuring compliance with UK laws, tax rules and company policies
  • Supporting continuous improvement, change communications & training

Key Responsibilities

HR & Payroll Integration

  • Harmonise payroll processes, systems, data and policies
  • Support HRIS (Workday), ATS, LMS, T&A and compensation tools inventory and mapping
  • Data cleansing, deduplication and migration testing
  • Resolve data discrepancies, integration gaps and workflow blockers
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance & external payroll vendors
  • Support employee communications, change plans and training roll-outs

Payroll Administration

  • End-to-end payroll cycle: preparation → vendor submission → reconciliation
  • Manage payroll deadlines, approvals and compliance checks
  • Recommend process enhancements and streamline post-acquisition flow

Benefits Administration

  • Map legacy benefits to new plans, manage migrations and deductions
  • Assist with leave balance migration, reconciliations and approvals
  • Oversee car fleet returns, share-option process and provider liaison
  • Prepare eligibility files, enrollments and exception tracking

HR & Workforce Support

  • Maintain accurate employee data in Workday
  • Manage hires, transfers, promotions and exits
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and compliance
  • Respond to employee and manager HR queries with empathy and accuracy
  • Contribute to HR process improvements, documentation and knowledge sharing

Experience & Qualifications

  • HR-related education; Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Strong experience in Payroll and HR generalist functions
  • M&A or integration experience highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and global HR operations
  • Experience with HR systems (Workday preferred)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder partnership skills
  • Able to work confidentially, accurately and with pace
  • Experience in Pharma/Animal Health a plus
