About the Role
As our HR & Payroll Integration Support specialist, you will play a pivotal role in:
- HR & payroll integration work for a recent acquisition
- Full UK payroll accountability (global payroll provider partnership)
- Employee data alignment, testing, validation & systems migration
- Benefits administration, reconciliations, onboarding and off-boarding
- HR operations, policy guidance, recruitment support & employee queries
- Ensuring compliance with UK laws, tax rules and company policies
- Supporting continuous improvement, change communications & training
Key Responsibilities
HR & Payroll Integration
- Harmonise payroll processes, systems, data and policies
- Support HRIS (Workday), ATS, LMS, T&A and compensation tools inventory and mapping
- Data cleansing, deduplication and migration testing
- Resolve data discrepancies, integration gaps and workflow blockers
- Coordinate with HR, Finance & external payroll vendors
- Support employee communications, change plans and training roll-outs
Payroll Administration
- End-to-end payroll cycle: preparation → vendor submission → reconciliation
- Manage payroll deadlines, approvals and compliance checks
- Recommend process enhancements and streamline post-acquisition flow
Benefits Administration
- Map legacy benefits to new plans, manage migrations and deductions
- Assist with leave balance migration, reconciliations and approvals
- Oversee car fleet returns, share-option process and provider liaison
- Prepare eligibility files, enrollments and exception tracking
HR & Workforce Support
- Maintain accurate employee data in Workday
- Manage hires, transfers, promotions and exits
- Support recruitment, onboarding and compliance
- Respond to employee and manager HR queries with empathy and accuracy
- Contribute to HR process improvements, documentation and knowledge sharing
Experience & Qualifications
- HR-related education; Bachelor’s degree a plus
- Strong experience in Payroll and HR generalist functions
- M&A or integration experience highly advantageous
- Knowledge of UK employment law and global HR operations
- Experience with HR systems (Workday preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder partnership skills
- Able to work confidentially, accurately and with pace
- Experience in Pharma/Animal Health a plus
