Zoetis is seeking a Virtual Lab Coordinator (Contractor) to provide operational support for our Clinical Consultation Service and Imagyst Digital Cytopathology service. The contractor will interact with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and veterinary customers, ensuring streamlined service delivery and optimal client satisfaction.
This arrangement does not constitute an employment relationship with Zoetis. No employee benefits are provided and the contractor will operate independently, under the terms outlined by the contract and supervising manager.
Key Responsibilities- Support the daily workflow of the Global Digital Cytopathology Service and Clinical Consultation Service under guidance from Virtual Laboratory Managers.
- Review and validate clinical consultation requests per process guidelines.
- Monitor shared mailboxes and chat channels, triaging and responding to service inquiries within agreed timeframes.
- Troubleshoot platform issues for Zoetis colleagues, customers, and contract consultants. Escalate technical issues as needed.
- Coordinate with contract clinical pathologists, consultants, and full-time specialists to facilitate service coverage and onboarding.
- Maintain positive interactions with vendors, consultants, Zoetis stakeholders, and veterinary customers, upholding a high level of service and professionalism.
- Assist with the management of agreements, NDAs, and monthly invoice reconciliation related to contractor and vendor activities.
- Gather and communicate feedback to product managers and developers to support platform optimization.
- Attend team meetings as requested under contract terms and contribute constructively.
- Complete additional tasks assigned by Zoetis management, consistent with contractual scope.
- Education: Certified Veterinary Technician/Nurse (CVT, RVT, LVT) with clinical experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience supporting veterinary or clinical laboratory environments.
- In-depth knowledge of the veterinary industry and clinical operations.
- Strong relationship management and customer service skills.
- Proficient with technology, digital platforms, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, and exercise sound judgment.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Adaptable, proactive, and collaborative.
- Experience with troubleshooting, problem-solving, and remote collaboration tools.
- Comfortable managing schedule and deliverables to meet contract obligations.
- Experience participating in feedback/testing cycles for digital services is a plus.
- Location: Fully remote.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday; approximate hours 8am–5pm or 9am–6pm based on project needs and contract (flexibility may be required during onboarding and peak periods).
- Compensation: By invoice, as agreed upon in contract terms.
