Our client is a respected international Trader, Importer, and Distributor of Food and Ingredients. They are looking for a candidate to join their team as a Trade Administrator for their office in London.

Supporting the Traders and Sales team, this is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, organized, and confident individual who is looking to learn, grow, and build a career within this organization. A graduate or someone with some work experience within administration will have an advantage.

The key responsibilities include building strong relationships with internal team members, external suppliers, and service providers. The focus will be on gaining knowledge of all areas of the business to develop skills and provide outstanding communication and customer service. The role involves prioritizing and managing workload to meet deadlines and assisting the team.

Customer support tasks include:

  1. Customer sales monthly contract balance overview spreadsheets
  2. Raising sales and purchase contracts on internal systems / instructions for deliveries
  3. Liaising with customers regarding required samples from warehouses
  4. Checking stock reports from warehouses against internal records
  5. Raising credit/debit notes
  6. Sending samples for lab testing
  7. Organizing office sample room
  8. Physical sample analysis
  9. Taking minutes for team meetings
  10. Gathering courier/delivery costs for samples
  11. Organizing trade exhibitions
  12. Supporting other departments as needed
  13. Ordering weekly staff lunch
  14. Ordering stationary
  15. Organizing shredding company collections
  16. Performing other ad hoc office tasks
