An exciting opportunity to join a high-end and prestigious Jewellery company in Central London has arisen for an experienced Shipping & Administration Coordinator.
PRIMARY FUNCTION/POSITION SUMMARY
The candidate’s primary function is to coordinate the movement of international high-end jewellery shipments. This will include preparation of all necessary paperwork and packing of stock with consideration of all necessary international customs procedures. The Shipping & Logistics team also complete support tasks for our London sales teams.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS
- Preparation of shipping documentation including:
- Proforma Memorandum/Commercial Invoice
- Letter of Instruction
- ATA Carnet
- CITES
- EUR1
- Packing of High End Jewellery Sales support documentation
- Determination of correct Customs Procedure and Harmonised Tariff Codes.
- Reviewing customs entries to ensure their accuracy.
- Liaise with 3PL providers.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
- Good experience as a Shipping Coordinator or similar shipping role
- Knowledge of UK customs procedures
- Knowledge of Outward Processing Relief (OPR) and Inward Processing Relief (IPR) Requirements
- Knowledge of Customs Warehousing Requirements.
- Experience of using e-Customs software desirable
- SAP experience desirable
- Excellent IT skills essential
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
- Ability to take ownership and develop processes
- Good interpersonal and communications skills and a solid team player.
