About the Team
You’ll work in a cross‑functional product trio (PM, Designer, Engineering Lead), partnering closely with Data, Brand, Content, and Science. You’ll also join ZOE’s broader Experience team — a small multi-disciplinary group of Product Designers, a Content Designer, a Motion Designer and UX Researchers. We care deeply about craft, clarity, and impact. We challenge each other, learn together, and believe that great work can and should be joyful.
About the Role & Impact
We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to join our Growth tribe, a revenue‑driven, experimentation‑focused team working across acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, and referrals. This role is pivotal to ZOE’s growth and sits at the intersection of:
- Revenue and business impact
- Member trust and credibility
- Behaviour change and long‑term health outcomes
- Experimentation and rapid iteration
You’ll design and optimise key journeys across our web surfaces and membership experience — from first click through to long‑term engagement. ZOE is a subscription‑based, science‑led health business with a few products (Daily30, at home gut health tests, and a nutrition app). You’ll help prospects understand what ZOE is, why it’s credible, and what they’ll get — while reducing friction, increasing clarity, and improving conversion at every step.
What You’ll Work On
You’ll work across the full growth lifecycle — shaping how people discover ZOE products, understand their value, become members, and stay engaged over time. We run rapid build–measure–learn loops: frequent experiments, tight PM/Data partnership, and fast iteration, without sacrificing trust, clarity, or craft.
- Acquisition & Activation: Designing high‑clarity, high‑trust entry points, from landing pages to web funnels, ensuring prospects quickly understand what ZOE is, why it’s credible, and what they’ll gain.
- Conversion, Plans & Membership: Optimising pricing, plans, checkout, and membership management (upgrades, cancellations, account changes), balancing commercial impact with long‑term trust.
- Retention, Referral & Lifecycle: Improving engagement, referral mechanics, and reactivation journeys, reducing churn drivers and strengthening perceived progress.
- Trust & Credibility: Elevating how we communicate evidence, expectations, and value — making science feel simple, transparent, and human.
- Web Design System: Owning and improving our web design system to increase experiment velocity through modular, reusable components, while keeping quality, consistency, and accessibility high across web. You’ll partner closely with App Product Design and Brand to ensure coherence across platforms, so we can ship fast without compromising craft.
Who You Are
- Experience & Craft: 7+ years designing digital products in product‑led teams (B2C preferred). Experience working in growth, experimentation, or revenue‑focused environments. Strong UX thinking combined with high‑quality UI craft. Experience designing for web‑based journeys and conversion funnels. Experience shaping or contributing heavily to Design Systems. Portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end ownership and measurable impact.
- Product & Growth Mindset: You think in systems and journeys, not just screens. You’re comfortable designing with metrics in mind. You understand trade‑offs between short‑term optimisation and long‑term trust. You’re comfortable working in ambiguity and shaping clarity.
- Ways of Working: You’re collaborative, pragmatic, and outcome‑focused. You communicate clearly and avoid jargon. You’re open to feedback and iterate quickly. You take ownership and follow through.
- Values Alignment: You care about improving people’s health. You bring a member‑first mindset to revenue decisions. You value inclusivity, accessibility, and ethical design. You enjoy learning, experimenting, and growing with others.
