We are looking for a Senior Motion and Video Editor (Performance/UGC) to become the engine behind Zoeâs creative performance. This will be an impactful, hands-on editing role with the majority of your time editing video, turning creator and brand footage into high-performing paid ads across Meta, TikTok and Google. Youâll be responsible for producing multiple variants per week, iterating quickly based on performance data, and constantly improving how our ads hook, engage, and convert.
You will join a fast-paced, growth-oriented creative squad. Youâll report directly to our Head of Creative and work hand-in-hand with our User Acquisition (UA) Managers. This is a highly collaborative partnership: the UA team provides the data and the scale, and you provide the high-velocity creative fuel that makes those campaigns successful.
What Youâll Be Doing
- Performance-Led Editing: Youâll edit with outcomes in mind, crafting thumb-stopping hooks, strong pacing, and clear CTAs. Your focus will be on attention, engagement, and acquisition rather than polish for its own sake, balancing speed with judgement and knowing what âgood enoughâ looks like in a performance environment.
- Partnering with Creators: A key partnership that underpins success in this role; youâll brief and support creators to get the footage you need, giving clear, practical feedback to improve raw content quality. Youâll then remix that creator content into ads that feel authentic, credible, and built to perform.
- Editing Ownership: Youâll be editing a high volume of UGC and brand video into paid social ads, turning single pieces of footage into multiple performance-led variants. Youâll adapt your edits for Meta, TikTok, and Google, optimising for speed, scalability and performance.
- Test & Learn: Own the iteration process. You wonât just make one video; youâll create 10+ variations to test what resonates best with our audience. Improvement comes from iteration, not perfection.
What Youâll Bring to the Table
- Portfolio: Your folio shows paid social video with multiple variants, clear performance thinking, and editing decisions made for outcomes rather than polish. This will need to be part of your application.
- Proven Track Record: Extensive experience producing high-performing paid social ads (Meta, TikTok, etc.), specifically within the UGC space.
- The "Editor Firstâ Mindset: Editing is your core craft. You spend most of your time hands-on in the timeline, while also owning your projects and briefing creators to support your work. Youâre confident cutting both UGC and brand footage into paid ads at speed.
- Technical Mastery: Expert-level skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and a deep curiosity for AI-assisted video production (e.g., Arcads, ElevenLabs, or automated captioning tools).
- Autonomy: Youâre always looking at the data to drive improvements and iterations; a passion for learning and implementing what works.
- Speed & Quality: Youâre able to work at speed and deliver quality quickly â you have a sense of urgency and what âgood enoughâ looks like.
- Creative mind and storytelling skills: You can turn raw UGC into clear, engaging stories with strong hooks, smart pacing, and an instinct for what works on social.
- Finger on the pulse: Youâre tuned into culture and social trends, with a sharp instinct for what feels current and relevant for our audience.
