We are looking for a Nutritionist to bridge the gap between cutting-edge nutritional science and impactful user experiences. In this role, you will embed nutrition expertise directly into ZOE’s products and content, ensuring everything our members interact with is evidence-based, clear, and actionable. Your main challenge will be to act as a highly organised, proactive collaborator who can seamlessly balance tasks across marketing, product development, and customer support.

You’ll join a collaborative, supportive team of 6 nutrition embedded within a vibrant cross-functional network. We operate with radical candour, move at startup speed, and share a common obsession: evidence-based impact. Diversity of thought is our superpower. On any given day, you will collaborate closely with:

  • Creative & Comms: PR, Content, and Design teams to craft life-changing narratives.
  • Tech & Product: Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Analysts to build seamless app experiences.
  • Research: Our world-class Science team to keep us rooted in the latest data.

We win as a team, celebrate our differences, learn fast from our mistakes, and are deeply passionate about translating complex data into friendly, life-changing content.

What you’ll be doing

  • Translate Science into Content: Write, review, and audit high-impact nutrition content across marketing assets, SEO articles, podcast newsletter summaries, and transcript reviews to ensure scientific accuracy and clarity.
  • Embed Expertise into Product: Support product squads (like Diet IQ and Ask-Ziggie) by providing a clear nutritionist’s point of view to help develop, test, and iterate app features.
  • Maintain the Food Database: Dive into food database data to spot issues, action incoming data from crowdsourcing or third-party providers, and execute corrections based on metrics and customer reports.
  • Empower Customer Support: Partner closely with Customer Support by writing FAQs, updating the Ziggie knowledge base, and reviewing Help Centre articles to build team confidence and response consistency.
  • Execute Cross-Functional Initiatives: Support team-wide fluid projects—ranging from early-stage disordered eating project support to ad-hoc presentations—ensuring nutrition knowledge drives the most impactful company priorities.

What you’ll bring

  • Registered with the Association for Nutrition (AfN) as an Associate/Registered Nutritionist, or with the British Dietetic Association (BDA) as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-graduate industry experience, ideally within nutrition apps, challenger wellness brands, or scalable health campaigns.
  • Proven experience translating complex nutrition science into user-friendly, engaging copy or UX components, ideally incorporating scalable behaviour change techniques.
  • Comfort retrieving and interpreting database entries to identify systemic data issues and maintain data integrity.
  • A natural communicator who builds strong relationships across different disciplines, from engineering to creative writing.
