Our client, a very high-end Jewellery company based in London, has an opportunity for a Production Manager/Specialist to join their team. The Production Manager will oversee the end-to-end production of products from design approval to final delivery. Within the role, you will need to ensure that products meet their high-quality standards and follow the brand guideline.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control the critical path of new samples including technical details, model feedback, costings, and deadline management.
  • Work with our workshops to develop high-quality products, give recommendations regarding technical details (stone setting, hinge/claps…) while optimising costs and ensuring production schedules are met.
  • Conduct quality checks at various stages of the product development process to ensure excellence and consistency between products.
  • Partner with the quality control team and propose product improvements and resolve production issues.
  • Manage the technical sheets and ensure all the details are collected (dimensions, setting, size of the chain…)
  • Update product design database and maintain jewellery wax model archive.
  • Collect the technical files of any new designs in order to register the designs.
  • Manage jewellery special orders: quotations, deadlines, special orders.
  • Build strong relationships with our workshops.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in Production or Product Development within the Jewellery industry. Strong understanding of Jewellery manufacturing techniques, materials, and craftsmanship. Be able to pay strict attention to detail and have a methodical approach. Must also have the ability to manage projects efficiently from project to delivery and have a problem-solving mindset. Have the ability to work under pressure.
