As ZOE continues to scale globally, we are looking for a rapid, collaborative, and culturally attuned Brand Performance Designer to elevate how we approach growth creative. Joining ZOE’s Creative Studio and reporting directly to the Lead Brand Designer, you will be the primary engine driving our visual presence across paid digital channels. You will step away from traditional, slow-cooked design pipelines to build a high-velocity workflow focused on winning consumer attention on Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and beyond.

This is an execution-first role for a true maker. You will work directly alongside the Lead Brand Designer, meaning you aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves, grab our product, capture engaging photography in the wild, or spin up iterative variants at a blistering pace. Crucially, you understand that perfection isn't what wins in performance creative. You know when to step away from high craft to execute intentionally raw, low-fidelity creative that stops the scroll and drives conversion.

While your primary mandate is performance creative, you will be a core part of our broader Creative Studio. If you possess strong foundational brand design skills, you will have the space to apply them across wider brand initiatives as the team grows. Because this role is highly production-intensive, a genuine passion for the ZOE mission and an excitement for changing the way the world approaches nutrition will be your fuel every day.

To keep you inspired, this role balances day-to-day production with creative freedom: while the bulk of your focus will be building high-volume static ad variations and systems, you'll also have space to shoot content in the wild, experiment with video editing, and test fresh, un-ignorable ideas.

What you’ll be doing

  • Build, iterate, and scale high-performing visual assets for multi-channel digital advertising campaigns (mainly Meta, but also TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and programmatic display), matching relentless volume with top-tier design quality.
  • Partner seamlessly alongside the Lead Brand Designer to absorb, execute, and scale the daily production requirements of our growth marketing channels.
  • Intentionally dial design quality up or down based on channel needs — knowing how to craft an asset that feels native, current, and raw without ever looking over-designed or easy to ignore.
  • Partner day-to-day with growth marketers and copywriters to turn real-time asset performance data and audience insights into fresh, beautifully designed visual hooks and creative variants.
  • Build, manage, and expand intelligent template systems and modular asset components within Figma, Canva, or other emerging frameworks to maximise studio output and efficiency.
  • Get hands-on as a physical creator: unbox product kits, capture raw, engaging imagery in the wild, and experiment with quick visual executions to keep our formats feeling current, authentic, and alive.
  • Own the asset localisation process, preparing and formatting successful creative architectures to scale seamlessly into new global markets.
  • Dedicate ~10% of your bandwidth to motion graphics testing, video editing, and proactive concept experimentation to expand our visual vocabulary on social platforms.
  • Maintain an unwavering eye for core brand consistency, ensuring even our highest-volume performance tests subtly protect ZOE’s foundational visual DNA.

What you’ll bring

  • 2-4+ years of design experience specialising in growth marketing, performance creative, or digital advertising (direct-to-consumer, subscription, or startup experience is highly desirable).
  • A portfolio that proves you understand what stops the scroll — showcasing highly engaging, organised digital layouts, smart typographic hierarchy, and an ability to deliver exceptional visual craft at high volumes.
  • Mastery of Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • A deep, intuitive understanding of platform cultures; you have your finger on the cultural pulse and know what feels native and thumb-stopping to a TikTok or Instagram feed versus what looks like a stale advertisement.
  • Exceptional speed, organisational agility, and a thick skin for data. You love testing, look forward to performance feedback, and can pivot design directions effortlessly based on metrics.
  • A maker mindset: comfort using your smartphone or basic camera equipment to capture real-world textures, lighting, and product interactions that look current, authentic, and premium.
  • Deep alignment with the ZOE mission; you are genuinely curious about science, human behaviour, health, and nutrition.

Nice to have

  • Motion graphics and animation skills (After Effects, Premiere, or CapCut) to add subtle movement to static concepts.
  • Proven experience executing localised asset variations for international campaigns.
  • Comfort incorporating modern AI generation or workflow tools into your creative ideation and asset production pipelines.
