We’re looking for a Performance Editor to join the creative engine behind ZOE’s paid social advertising. This is an editing-first role. Around 80% of your time will be spent in Premiere and After Effects creating high-performing ads for Meta, TikTok, Google and other acquisition channels. Your primary focus will be growing Daily30 and the Gut Health Bar, creating performance creative that helps more people discover and purchase our physical products. While you’ll occasionally support campaigns for the ZOE App and Gut Health Test, your core focus will be building best-in-class creative for consumer products.

You’ll join the Creative team, working day-to-day with User Acquisition managers, Creative Strategists, Designers, Copywriters and Creators. User Acquisition brings the commercial goals, creative strategy brings the performance insights, while you bring the creative execution, helping shape ideas and turning them into ads that perform. We move quickly, test constantly and care deeply about producing work that’s both creatively strong and commercially effective.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Edit performance creative every day, transforming UGC, creator and brand footage into high-performing paid social ads for Daily30 and the Gut Health Bar across Meta, TikTok, Google and emerging platforms.
  • Create multiple creative variants, testing different hooks, pacing, messaging, captions and CTAs to continually improve performance.
  • Bring products to life creatively, showcasing ingredients, product experience, preparation, benefits and everyday moments in ways that make people stop scrolling and want to buy.
  • Bring ideas to the table, contributing concepts, creative angles and improvements rather than simply executing briefs.
  • Apply strong creative judgement, making thoughtful editing decisions that improve attention, engagement and conversion while balancing speed with quality.
  • Use performance data to improve your work, learning from results and applying those insights to future edits.
  • Build scalable editing workflows, using templates, AI-assisted tools and repeatable processes to increase output without compromising creative quality.
  • Own your projects from brief to delivery, collaborating closely with User Acquisition, copywriters and designers to produce work that delivers measurable business impact.
  • Jump behind the camera when needed, capturing quick pieces of content, new hooks, product demonstrations or social-first moments that strengthen the creative.

We value people who are resourceful, scrappy and willing to make ideas happen, not just edit what’s already been shot.

What You’ll Bring

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating paid social video editing, with multiple creative variants and clear evidence of performance thinking. This is essential.
  • Experience creating conversion-focused creative for DTC, SaaS or consumer brands.
  • Recent experience delivering performance video campaigns across Meta, TikTok and Google, with a strong understanding of platform-specific creative best practices.
  • Advanced skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Figma and CapCut, with the confidence to choose the right tool for the job.
  • Strong experience creating paid social video, motion graphics, AI-assisted creative, voiceovers and end-to-end asset production.
  • The confidence to independently make creative decisions that elevate the work, rather than simply following a brief.

Thinking & Mindset

  • You’re an editor first. Your favourite part of the job is being in the timeline making creative work better.
  • You have excellent creative judgement. You understand that the goal isn’t to make the most polished advert possible, it’s to make the most effective one.
  • You’re comfortable dialling the fidelity of the work up or down depending on the creative opportunity, always protecting the reputation of the ZOE brand while helping us improve the health of millions through creative that performs.
  • You’re naturally curious about why ads succeed or fail and enjoy using performance data to improve your creative decisions.
  • You have a bias for action. If the creative needs a new hook, another shot or a better ending, you don’t wait for someone else to solve it.
  • You’re happy to pick up a camera, record a voiceover, experiment with AI or try three different edits until you find what works.
  • It’s a bonus if you’re comfortable behind the camera. You don’t need to be a professional filmmaker, but you’re happy capturing quick pieces of content and bringing energy to shoots before bringing that footage to life in the edit.
  • You thrive in fast-moving environments, take ownership of your work and enjoy collaborating with others to continually raise the creative bar.
