We exist because the food we eat is making us sick. Most of what we are taught about food is wrong. ZOE runs the world’s largest nutrition science study to find scientifically proven solutions. Our randomised controlled trial of ZOE proves that if you eat the right food for your body, you can feel healthier in weeks and be on track for more healthy years. ZOE can change the way you eat, feel, and live. We host world-leading scientists on our podcast and bring proven science to your plate with Daily30+, our 30+ plant supplement. Over 100,000 people rely on ZOE Membership, our personalised nutrition program, to make smarter food choices. ZOE Membership turns complex science into clear step-by-step actions, helping you improve your health with every meal. ZOE means life — and you can change your life with food.

The Role: As Workplace Technology Lead, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and automating the digital workplace at ZOE. Your responsibilities will span our Mac-centric endpoint fleet, Okta-driven identity, and our Google collaboration stack. You will have significant responsibility for over 100 SaaS apps, driving zero-touch provisioning, widespread automation, and ensuring a best-in-class employee experience (DEX). This role also involves leading projects and OKRs, and acting as a mentor and escalation point within the Workplace Technology function.

The Team: At ZOE, our Workplace Technology team is the backbone of our remote-first environment, empowering our 200-strong workforce with a seamless, 100% SaaS stack. We’re on the hunt for an individual contributor who will champion the entire employee-facing experience – from devices and identity to collaboration, automation, and SaaS economics. You’ll be a key strategic partner to the Head of IT, while also being the hands-on force transforming "IT" into an incredibly efficient and friction-free Workplace Technology platform.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own the Workplace Technology roadmap—devices, identity, SaaS catalogue, automation, support workflows—and keep it aligned with ZOE’s remote-first culture.
  • Implement and refine zero-touch provisioning with AppleDEP/ABM + Hexnode, ensuring leased devices are enrolled, compliant and returned on time.
  • Rationalise and govern the SaaS portfolio (≈100 apps) for cost, risk, and duplication; run assessments and reports that make license spending and utilisation visible and actionable.
  • Automate employee lifecycle and SaaS orchestration using Okta and Trelica, aiming for one-click onboarding and painless offboarding.
  • Build and run employee-experience telemetry (DEX/ NPS/time-to-productivity), turning sentiment and metrics into actionable data.
  • Act as escalation and backup for support queries; apply an AI-first approach to deflect tickets and make knowledge available to end-users.
  • Partner with Finance on invoice reconciliation, usage reporting and cost-optimisation exercises; lead contract renewals and vendor negotiations for workplace technology applications.
  • Drive self-service culture within ZOE by building and introducing new capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Workplace Security on device posture signals, policies and GDPR controls.
  • Own vendor relationships and budgets for endpoint tooling, collaboration platforms, and user-productivity SaaS.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Hands-on track record running digital workplace / SaaS-based portfolios for a fast-moving, cloud-first organisation (ideally 100–500 people).
  • Ownership mentality—experience working in lean environments with broad scope, managing multiple contexts and prioritising accordingly.
  • Deep IdP administration experience—SCIM, MFA, conditional access, and SaaS SSO integrations.
  • Proven SaaSOps experience: catalogue rationalisation, cost analytics, contract negotiation, ideally using Trelica, BetterCloud or similar.
  • Stakeholder fluency—equally comfortable whiteboarding with engineers, explaining SaaS spend to Finance, or demoing provisioning flows to the Exec team.
  • Track record acting as final technical escalation in a remote support environment; calm under pressure when Slack is down five minutes before an all-hands.
  • Familiarity with leasing logistics and inventory reconciliation.
  • Working knowledge of GDPR principles as they apply to endpoint and SaaS data handling.
  • Excellent written/asynchronous communication skills.
  • Nice-to-have: exposure to AI service desks or experience migrating from FreshService-style ITSM tools.

Our Hiring Journey:

  • Intro Chat with Talent Team – 30–40 mins
  • Hiring Manager Interview – 45 mins
  • Technical Interview – 60 mins
  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Interview – 45 mins
  • Final Values & Leadership Interview – 45 mins
  • Offer Stage
