A dynamic UK-wide planning consultancy is seeking a Planner to join its growing planning team. You’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of planning advice and submissions across a broad range of development projects, working collaboratively with senior planners and multi-disciplinary teams.

This is a great opportunity for a planning professional with some experience to build their career, take on responsibility, and contribute to the successful navigation of planning processes for clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare planning applications, reports, and supporting documentation
  • Conduct research and analysis of planning policy, site constraints, and development opportunities
  • Assist with due diligence, planning appraisals, and strategy preparation
  • Liaise with local planning authorities, stakeholders, and internal project teams
  • Support project coordination and delivery to ensure planning objectives are met
About You
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Town Planning, Geography, Urban Design or related discipline
  • Some professional experience in planning (e.g., consultancy, local authority, developer side)
  • Good understanding of UK planning policy and development management process
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, organised and able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • RTPI membership (or working towards) is desirable
