Our client is a small, independent practice of Chartered Building Surveyors based in Truro, specialising in building conservation across Cornwall, the Scilly Isles, and Devon. Listed buildings, churches, trusts and charity-owned properties, private and corporate clients. Surveys, condition reports, planning and Listed Building Consent work, specifications, tender documentation, and contract administration from inception through to completion.

What you'll be doing
- Leading surveys and reports on listed and historic buildings
- Advising on repairs, planning applications and Listed Building Consent
- Preparing specifications, running tenders, and administering contracts on site
- Managing client relationships directly, from private owners to trusts and churches
- Providing a personal service across the full project lifecycle
What you'll need
- MRICS qualification
- Solid experience working on listed or historic buildings
- Working knowledge of heritage and planning legislation
- A full driving licence, as the role covers Cornwall, the Scilly Isles, and Devon
Salary £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
