Our client provides engineering solutions for highway, drainage and utility related schemes out of their office in Hadlow. Their involvement starts at the beginning of the development process through to completion and includes preparation of outline planning reports including flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and highway feasibility studies. They offer a hybrid working environment and a focus on your work/life balance.
About you:
- Degree in civil engineering
- At least 3 years' relevant experience within a UK consultancy
- Ability to work autonomously on projects of all sizes
- Strong technical ability
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Willing to become involved in business development
The Civil Engineer role:
- Prepare SUDS reports and flood risk assessments to support planning applications
- Produce drainage designs for technical approval and construction
- Provide compliant drainage designs for S104, S37 and S278
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Site 3D / Causeway Flow
- Prepare fee proposals and tenders
