We are currently seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineer to join our clients’ team in Leyland. This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative solutions within the residential and domestic sectors.
The Structural Engineer Role
- Assist in designing, analysing and detailing structural elements for residential and domestic buildings.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to produce calculations, reports anddrawings.
- Perform structural assessments and inspections of existing buildings and properties.
- Work with other design teams to ensure structural elements integrate with other disciplines.
- Evaluate compliance with building regulations, codes of practice and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Participate in site visits and surveys to support project development.
Skill Requirements
A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent), proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and structural analysis tools, solid understanding of UK building codes, standards and regulations, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
