We’re recruiting for a Graduate Planner to join a highly regarded planning consultancy in Scotland, where you’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects across the country.
The Role: As a Graduate Planner, you’ll support the team in delivering high-quality planning advice and services to a diverse client base. You’ll gain hands-on experience across residential, commercial, infrastructure, and mixed-use developments, while receiving structured support towards your RTPI Chartership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.
- Undertaking research, site appraisals, and policy reviews.
- Preparing planning statements, design and access statements, and reports.
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
- Contributing to the success of major projects that shape Scotland’s communities.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree (or equivalent) in Town Planning or a related discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and research abilities.
- Enthusiasm to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative team.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to pursuing Chartered Planner (MRTPI) status.
