Our client is a nationwide Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy who have now tasked us with finding them a Senior Structural Engineer for their Richmond office. The Senior Structural Engineer will have experience in multi-storey RC Frame projects and be rewarded with a salary up to £60k, maybe more for more senior individuals. Flexible and hybrid working, enhanced Pension, Bonus and flexible benefits are also offered. The Senior Structural Engineer will have development potential as the company grows across all offices so there is a clear line to Principal and Associate positions.

The ideal Structural Engineer will have 5+ years' experience within a UK Consultancy and be working towards chartership with excellent knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience within a UK Consultancy
  • Multi-storey RC Frame projects
  • Experience with software - TEKLA Structural Designer, Robot and TEDDS
  • Ability to design to British Standards or Eurocode
  • Knowledge of steel, concrete, timber and load bearing masonry structures is essential
  • A BEng or MEng Civil / Structural Engineering or Engineering Design
  • Chartered member of the relevant body such as the IStructE
  • Experience across several sectors - Commercial, educational, residential, health and leisure
  • Experience of conceptual design, project management including programming works and experience in leading a small team
