My client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior/Principal Planner to join their dynamic team in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading planning projects, managing client relationships, and contributing to the growth of our planning department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage planning projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct research, analysis, and prepare planning reports.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Provide expert advice on planning policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Mentor and support junior staff members.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and environmental consultants.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Geography, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning or a related role.
- Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Strong knowledge of UK planning policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
