I am delighted to be working exclusively on behalf of a highly respected town planning consultancy to find a Senior Town Planner for their North West England office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced town planner to join a forward-thinking company that offers a collaborative and supportive environment.
Salary: Up to £50,000 (depending on experience)

As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering planning projects and advising clients across a wide range of sectors. You will manage and support junior planners, lead planning applications, and liaise with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage planning projects from inception to completion
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on town planning matters
- Prepare and submit planning applications, assessments, and reports
- Work closely with local authorities, developers, and other key stakeholders
- Mentor and develop junior staff members
- Keep up to date with planning legislation and industry trends
What we’re looking for:
- A qualified Town Planner (RTPI or equivalent) or working towards
- Significant experience within town planning, ideally with a background in the private sector
- Proven track record in managing planning projects and dealing with planning matters
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive, solution-focused approach
