Job Description
Our client has opportunities for expansion to meet the current healthy forward workload generated by the impetus for growth in the UK within the commercial, retail, industrial and housing sectors.
The Infrastructure team at their Hove office operates from an open-plan, air conditioned office.
Their Infrastructure team specialise in providing sustainable development infrastructure solutions to mainly private sector clients in both the UK and overseas. The team also works closely with other disciplines to provide integrated solutions on high profile multi-disciplinary projects.

Responsibilities
- Lead the civil infrastructure design work on large-scale logistics development projects from pre-planning through to construction.
- Apply experience in highways, external works, earthworks modelling and drainage.
- Produce designs that align with UK design standards, balancing multiple projects to meet timetables.
- Work with private sector clients and use Civil3D, Causeway Flow & Microdrainage, AutoCAD, AutoTrack and Navisworks; PDS line and sign design experience is beneficial.
- Contribute to BIM Level 2 status, undertake 3D coordination with the design team, and prepare IFC or equivalent format outputs as required.
- Manage projects, attend meetings, and liaise with clients, design teams and third-party representatives.
- Prepare reports (FRA, drainage strategy, specifications, technical notes) and communicate effectively within a team context.
- Work in a permanent role based in the Hove office.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 yearsβ experience within the UK, with an aspiration to Incorporated or Chartered status.
- Significant recent experience in civil-related design for large-scale logistics developments, including highways, external works, earthworks modelling and drainage.
- Experience in highway and drainage design and bulk earthworks modelling; working knowledge of UK design standards.
- Private sector experience and working knowledge of Civil3D; familiarity with Causeway Flow & Microdrainage, AutoCAD, AutoTrack, and Navisworks.
- PDS line and sign design experience would be beneficial.
- Experience producing designs suitable for BIM Level 2 and coordinating in 3D with the design team.
