Our client is a well-established Chartered Building Surveying practice with over 30 years behind it, based in central London. They work across Building Surveying, Project Management, Architectural Design and CDM Principal Designer services, so this Senior Building Surveyor role sits within a multi-disciplinary team rather than a single-service consultancy.
Staff development is built into how they operate. Two current Directors joined as trainee surveyors, and the practice has a strong APC pass rate with regular CPD for staff at every level. Hybrid working, an Employee Assistance Programme, and a social calendar are all part of the package for anyone joining the London team.
Senior Building Surveyor responsibilities
- Leading building surveys, condition reports and dilapidations instructions
- Managing client relationships and taking ownership of projects end to end
- Supporting contract administration and project delivery across a varied portfolio
- Mentoring and supervising more junior building surveyors
- Working across residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors in London
What you'll need for this Senior Building Surveyor role
- MRICS qualification
- Strong track record in building surveying at a senior or near-senior level
- Confidence running instructions and client relationships directly
- Full driving licence
Salary £65,000 - £80,000 depending on experience.
