Key Responsibilities:
- Site-Based Sampling & Assessment
- Attend sites nationwide to carry out soil and waste sampling using approved techniques.
- Conduct visual and olfactory assessments of materials, accurately recording all observations.
- Take clear, high-quality photographs to document site activities for inclusion in reports.
- Confirm sampling locations in consultation with clients and the internal Technical Team.
- Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental guidelines during site work.
- Liaise with site personnel to plan and carry out fieldwork efficiently.
- Maintain regular contact with office-based colleagues to coordinate logistics and ensure accurate data handling.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and contractors on-site.
- Accurately log sampling details, including site conditions, sampling methods, and supporting photographic evidence.
- Provide comprehensive field data to the Technical Team to support waste classification and technical reporting processes.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a geoenvironmental, geotechnical, or related site-based engineering role.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Eligible to drive a company vehicle (must be 21+ due to insurance requirements).
