I’m currently working with a well-established planning consultancy that is looking to recruit a Planner to join their team in the West Sussex area. This is a great opportunity for a planning professional who wants to work on a varied workload across the South East, within a supportive team that offers clear development and long-term career progression.
The Role
- Managing and supporting planning applications across residential, commercial, and rural developments
- Preparing planning statements, policy reviews, and supporting documents
- Liaising with local planning authorities, clients, and project consultants
- Assisting with site appraisals and development strategies
- Supporting senior planners on more complex schemes and appeals
About You
- A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
- Experience within UK planning (local authority or consultancy)
- MRTPI or working towards chartered status
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
