My client in Manchester is seeking a talented Planner to join their team. They are a dynamic nationwide Planning consultancy dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for sustainable development projects across the UK. As a Planner, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a wide range of planning projects, from residential developments to commercial schemes. You will work closely with senior colleagues and clients to research planning policies, prepare applications, and engage with stakeholders to facilitate successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive town planning strategies tailored to Manchester\’s unique urban environment.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the best use of land.
Liaise with stakeholders including government agencies, developers, and community groups to ensure cohesive planning and development.
Prepare and present detailed planning proposals and reports to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Review and process planning applications, ensuring compliance with local, regional, and national regulations.
