We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join a dynamic multi-disciplinary consultancy in Norwich. As a key member of the engineering department, you will lead projects, collaborate with clients, and deliver innovative structural solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop structural solutions for various projects predominantly within the residential, commercial, industrial, transportation and leisure sectors.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements.
- Analyse and interpret data, identifying potential design issues.
- Develop and implement structural designs using industry-standard software.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Qualifications
- Gained a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Relevant experience in structural design engineering likely gained from consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design software (e.g., Autodesk, STAAD, ETABS, Tekla, TEDDS).
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
