Key Responsibilities:
- Working as a member of a project team to deliver quality services to clients.
- Ensures that designs are delivered on time to our clients and that the design fulfils the client’s brief.
- Inspects construction work and ensures that all aspects of design are correctly implemented.
- Monitors processes and results and ensures that they comply with relevant safety, legal, ethical and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to make appropriate judgements and decisions and exercise initiative.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-years’ design experience in Geotechnical Engineering with proven technical knowledge of geotechnics and relevant software.
- Detailed knowledge of current engineering codes of practice.
- Ability to work to deadlines and excellent planning and organisation skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Skills & Attributes:
- A first degree (minimum 2.1) in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or similar.
- Master’s degree in geotechnical engineering or similar is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ Geotechnical or Civil Engineering design experience.
