We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Loss Adjuster to join our team in the South East region. Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough investigations to assess the extent of loss or damage to insured properties.
* Evaluate insurance claims and determine coverage eligibility based on policy terms and conditions.
* Interview policyholders, witnesses, and other relevant parties to gather information and evidence regarding the loss or damage.
* Analyze and review documentation, including police reports, repair estimates, and medical records, to determine the cause and extent of the loss.
* Collaborate with external experts, such as forensic specialists and engineers, to obtain professional opinions and advice.
* Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, assessments, and recommendations for claim settlements.
* Negotiate settlements with policyholders, ensuring fair and accurate compensation based on the policy coverage.
* Stay updated on industry trends, legal developments, and best practices related to loss adjusting.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of all claim activities and communications.
* Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
* Bachelor\’s degree in a relevant field, such as insurance, risk management, or business administration.
* Previous experience as a Loss Adjuster or a similar role within the insurance industry.
* In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, coverage terms, and claims procedures.
* Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to evaluate complex situations and make accurate judgments.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, both verbal and written.
* Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple claims simultaneously.
* Attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping skills.
* Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A valid driver\’s license and willingness to travel within the South East region as required.
