About the Role:
As a Planner, you will be involved in delivering a diverse range of planning services, providing expert advice and support to both public and private sector clients. You will play an essential role in ensuring developments comply with local and national planning policies while contributing to sustainable growth in Kent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage planning applications, appeals, and reports
- Provide clear, professional advice on planning policies, regulations, and the development process
- Work closely with local authorities, stakeholders, and the public on planning matters
- Conduct site assessments, including environmental and heritage considerations
- Engage in community consultations and public meetings

About You:
Qualifications: A degree in Town Planning, Urban Design, or a related field. Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is an advantage.
Experience: Ideally, you will have 1-3 years of planning experience within the UK, with knowledge of Kent's local planning framework.
Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret planning policies and legislation.
Personal Attributes: Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
