Our client is a successful engineering consultancy who are searching for an enthusiastic Structural Engineer to join them in Leeds. They work across an interesting range of projects including heritage, residential, industrial, commercial, educational, care homes and drainage. They are keen to find a Structural Engineer who has experience working with an engineering consultancy, looking for a new position where they can progress their career as a part of a supportive business.
Structural Engineer Role: As a Structural Engineer you will be a key part of the structural design team working on a wide range of projects. You will be working with vastly experienced Senior Structural Engineers and Directors to offer an excellent level of service to their clients.
Structural Engineer Responsibilities: As a Structural Engineer the following will be expected of you:
- Deliver a consistent and professional level of communication at all times to clients and other stakeholders.
- Prepare reports.
- Create engineering drawings using CAD packages and sketches for drafting.
- Assess the Health and Safety impact and risks connected to design decisions.
- Monitor progress during each phase of a project.
- Produce structural calculations.
