Are you a recent graduate with a passion for Town planning and a desire to make a positive impact on communities? My client is looking for a motivated Graduate Town Planner to join their team in Nottinghamshire. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Planning projects, work alongside experienced professionals, and contribute to the sustainable development of Nottingham and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities: Assist in conducting research and analysis on urban development trends, demographic data, and environmental factors. Support the preparation and review of planning applications, development proposals, and environmental impact assessments. Participate in community engagement activities, including public consultations and stakeholder meetings. Provide support to senior planners in project management and coordination tasks. Stay updated on planning legislation, policies, and best practices. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Architecture, or a related field. Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret data and present findings effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive attitude. Knowledge of urban planning principles and practices is preferred but not required.
