Graduate / Assistant Building Surveyor - Tunbridge Wells or Hastings
Our client, a well-established chartered surveying practice covering London and the South East, is looking for a Graduate or Assistant Building Surveyor to join their team in Tunbridge Wells or Hastings.
This is a business built on social housing and NHS contracts, so you'll be working on live, varied projects from day one rather than sitting on the sidelines.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll support the wider surveying team across stock condition surveys, planned maintenance, and disrepair work, gaining exposure to the full spread of social housing and healthcare estate projects the practice handles.
What matters most
Attitude and aptitude come first here. Whether you’re a graduate starting out or an assistant with some experience already under your belt, if you’ve got the right approach, they’ll invest in you. Building surveying or a related built environment degree is expected, but hands‑on experience is a nice‑to‑have, not a requirement.
APC support and progression
Your APC is fully supported, with salary increases tied directly to your progress through it. Starting salary is £30,000 to £40,000, with a clear route upward as you build toward chartership.
