Role: FLOOD RISK ENGINEER Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 (DOE) per annum + plus benefits (Permanent) Location: Ruthin Ref: MB264 Join an exciting and growing Environmental Management team in Wakefield as a Flood Risk Engineer. This company delivers a diverse range of pre and post-planning designs, including undertaking flood risk assessments, hydraulic modelling, hydrology assessments, SuDS, environmental assessments, drainage strategies for a range of private and public sector clients. Due to an increased workload, they are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work as part of the growing team. The Flood Risk Engineer Role: • As a Flood Risk Engineer, successfully deliver projects and co-ordinate with others • Carry out technical and other work as required on assigned projects whilst ensuring high levels of safety, quality and environmental responsibility • Engage in client and third party liaison successfully leading to enhanced reputation and repeat work • Execute site-based or office functions, liaising with clients and other contractors\’ staff to collect project specific information as required by the Project Manager • Prepare reports, models, calculations and drawings on assigned projects • Supervise technical work of staff as required by the Department Manager Requirements: • Civil Engineering, Geography degree or similar • Working towards membership of CIWEM or similar experience • Minimum of two years\’ experience of flood risk projects • Previous experience of delivering flood risk projects for land development, regeneration and transportation • Experience of contributing to and writing Water Environment / Flood Risk chapters for Environmental Statement What you\’ll get in return: • Receive fantastic support throughout your ongoing personal and professional development as your career progresses, allowing you to reach your full potential. • A competitive remuneration package • Quarterly work events • An open plan and vibrant office What to do next: If you would like to apply for this Flood Risk Engineer role in Ruthin, then please click on the link to apply.
