Our Client is a market leading, multidisciplinary Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, which specialises in Flood Risk, Drainage and River Engineering. They are now searching for a Flood Risk Consultant to join their Flood Risk and Drainage Team based in Leeds. This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly team of Engineers to complete Flood Risk, Environmental, Drainage and River Projects for Residential Development Projects for Housing Developers, Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients.
As a Flood Risk Consultant you will be required to complete technical work including;
-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.
-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
-Flood Consequence Assessments.
-Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.
-Drainage design using Microdrainage.
-Project Management and Mentoring.
This role offers a competitive salary, substantial benefits package, company benefits and career progression. It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Geoscience, Hydrology or Civil Engineering and experience working for a Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk or Drainage Projects.
It is essential for applicants to reside locally and have a keen interest in Flood Risk Assessments or Flood Consequence Assessments. You will be expected to work from the office on a hybrid basis for training purposes.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
