I’m currently working with a well-established planning consultancy that is looking to recruit a Planner to join their team in the West Sussex area. This is a great opportunity for a planning professional who wants to work on a varied workload across the South East, within a supportive team that offers clear development and long-term career progression.

The Role

  • Managing and supporting planning applications across residential, commercial, and rural developments
  • Preparing planning statements, policy reviews, and supporting documents
  • Liaising with local planning authorities, clients, and project consultants
  • Assisting with site appraisals and development strategies
  • Supporting senior planners on more complex schemes and appeals

About You

  • A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
  • Experience within UK planning (local authority or consultancy)
  • MRTPI or working towards chartered status
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive and organised approach to work
