Founded 60 years ago as a small design office, this multidisciplinary consultancy has grown to employ around 300 staff across multiple UK locations. Their strong national presence attracts a diverse client base, resulting in an enviable project pipeline.
Principal Civil Engineer Role Overview: As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will take a lead role in the engineering design of projects across various sectors, including health and leisure, residential, conservation and refurbishment, education, landscaping, industrial and commercial, breweries, and hotels. You will work on projects that are both challenging and rewarding, contributing to the consultancy's continued success.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Chartered status.
- Several years of consultancy experience.
- Proficiency in Microdrainage, Civils3D, and SuDS drainage design.
- Ability to produce Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports for planning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
