We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established planning consultancy/local authority client in the East Midlands, looking to appoint a Town Planner to support a growing pipeline of work across residential, commercial, and strategic development projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a planner seeking variety, career development, and long-term progression within a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
- Assisting with and managing planning applications and pre-application submissions
- Preparing planning statements, reports, and policy assessments
- Undertaking site appraisals and development feasibility work
- Liaising with local planning authorities, clients, and consultants
- Supporting appeals and public consultation processes
About You
- Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
- RTPI accredited or working towards chartership
- Experience within a consultancy or local authority setting preferred
- Good understanding of the UK planning system
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
