They are involved with projects of every size, across all sectors and deliver imaginative, integrated design solutions from concept to completion.
Your company are located in the heart of Sheffield city centre and have gone from strength to strength since the conception of their Sheffield office 3 years ago, with the ambition of growing a reliable, exciting and autonomous client base within the region. A fantastic start has been made, and they\βre looking to further strengthen their civils team having recently moved into a more spacious modern office.
Civil Engineer Role:
You will be working closely with Principal Engineer and Civil Engineering graduate as well as the Structural Engineering team and be in part responsible for conceptual and detailed design through various RIBA stages and overall project delivery with the support of the surrounding team on an increasing variety of projects across the commercial, residential, education, ministry of justice, education industrial sectors.
As you progress, more informed commercial awareness and client relationship management will be important elements to the role.
As your civil design team further grows, mentoring and checking the work of fellow engineers and technicians will be key.
Civil Engineer β Qualifications and Experience:
β’ A minimum of a BEng in Civil Engineering and 3+ years\β UK design consultancy experience.
β’ Conversance with AutoCAD, Civil3D/PDS, Info/Microdrainage is a requirement, although there will be scope to improve your skills with them.
β’ Experience with Section Agreements 278, 38, 104 and 185.
β’ Hands-on approach, with a desire to remain engaged in design, project management and delivery.
β’ Good organisation, communication, and presentation skills.
