Chartered Building Surveyor & Project Manager - London (Central)
Our client is a boutique, independent commercial property consultancy based in Soho, known across London for their Building Surveying and Project Management work. Since 2008 they've built a strong reputation without the layers and bureaucracy of the bigger firms, and they're now looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor and Project Manager to join a growing team of 7.
The role
You’ll work across a full range of Building Surveying and Project Management instructions, with no pigeonholing into one service line:
- Technical due diligence
- Building condition surveys
- Contract administration
- Project management
- Defect diagnosis
- Specifications and tender documentation
- Refurbishment projects
- Client advisory services
Most instructions sit within the M25. You’ll manage commissions from instruction through to completion, working closely with the Director and two apprentices already on the Building Surveying and PM side, helping the team grow.
What you’ll need
- MRICS qualified
- Around 2 years PQE as a minimum, though this is flexible for the right person
- Comfortable managing your own workload and client relationships
- Business development experience would help, though the client base is already well established
