Are you an experienced Town Planner ready to take the next step in your career? We're working with a highly regarded planning consultancy in Bristol who are looking to bring a Senior Town Planner into their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and ambitious practice that works on a wide variety of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across the South West and beyond.
You'll play a key role in managing projects, mentoring junior staff, and delivering creative planning solutions for clients.
The Role:
- Lead on a range of planning applications and appeals
- Manage client relationships and provide strategic planning advice
- Undertake site appraisals and prepare detailed planning statements
- Work closely with directors and other specialists on major projects
- Support and guide junior team members
About You:
- MRTPI qualified (or working toward chartership)
- 4+ years' experience in planning (private consultancy or local authority)
- Strong understanding of the UK planning system and local policy frameworks
- Excellent communication, project management, and report-writing skills
- Confident working with clients and local authorities alike
