Are you an ambitious Civil Engineering Technician looking to develop your career with a civils led design consultancy in Bristol? We are recruiting a Civil Technician on behalf of a well-established, growing consultancy that specialises in residential development design projects, covering:
- Drainage design (private and adoptable)
- Highways design (private and adoptable)
- External works and earthworks
You will play an important role in supporting engineers with the delivery of innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions for clients across the residential sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing detailed design drawings for drainage and highways schemes
- Working with engineers on designs for Section 38, 104, 278 agreements
- Producing technical drawings using AutoCAD
- Using Site 3D software (experience desirable but not essential - training will be provided)
- Supporting the preparation of engineering reports and documents
Civil Technician Requirements:
- Proven experience using AutoCAD in a civil engineering design environment
- Interest in residential development projects
- Knowledge of drainage and highways design principles (preferred)
- Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within a consultancy team
